balance sensor

Hi 

As result of my research in humanoid walking motion, i need use a balance 
sensor in judoka head or body, but i couldn't find any kind of balance 
sensor in judoka bot. Even I couldn't know if the bot is stand up or lay 
without use the camera. Someone have any suggestion?
