PostDoc & PhD positions in Paris

The engineering school Télécom ParisTech in Paris/France is inviting applications for a Postdoc and a PhD student position in the DBWeb Team, to work on knowledge bases with Fabian Suchanek. 

Télécom ParisTech was founded in 1878, and is located right in the center of Paris. The team works on Big Data, Knowledge Bases, Social Web, Web Data, and Cognition. In particular, the team co-develops the YAGO knowledge base, together with the Max Planck Institute for Informatics. The PhD position is a 3 year position at standard salary. The postdoc position is a full-time position for 1 year at standard salary, extendible by 1 year. The larger research topic of both positions is “schema mining”, i.e., the automated discovery of schema information in knowledge bases.
