Dear All,

We have a Research Assistant/Associate position to investigate consent in a=
utonomous systems (salary: level 6/7, =A329,176 - =A332,817 / =A335,845 - =
=A340,322 per annum).

The position is funded by UKRI Trustworthy Autonomous Systems Hub Pump Prim=
ing Programme, and will be based at the School of Computing Science, Univer=
sity of Glasgow.

A regulatory mechanism based on user consent is fundamental to govern how u=
ser information is collected and processed to preserve privacy and mitigate=
harm. However, assumptions underlying the verification of existing consent=
approaches make it hard to demonstrate compliance in autonomous systems. F=
or instance, autonomous systems may rapidly evolve and mutate to circumvent=
consent granted by users ex-ante. This project will therefore investigate =
reasoning techniques to support regulatory stakeholders such as Data Protec=
tion Officers in verifying user =

consent in autonomous systems. =

We are looking for someone with skills in one or more of the following: Mac=
hine Learning, Privacy, Model Checking, and/or Regulatory Compliance.

Deadline for applications is *17th June*. =

Thanks and best wishes,
Inah
