[bdbxml] MD5 and modules

Anybody has or knows the best way to get a MD5 using XQuery?

Another doubt about modules:
If I make external access to a library and include it in every prepared 
query expression, will all the resulting queries have the module code 
embedded like included by hand? I mean, is there a way to prepare an 
amount of functions to be re-used?
