[bdbxml] Performance issue of DBXML-2.1.8

hello friends,

I want to know the following thing about dbxml-2.1.8 version
whether getting a document from a container using getdocument method 
will be faster or
getting a document from a container by querying (XQUERY ) the container 
will be faster .
Each document stored in the container has a attribute "id" to the root 
element which is unique (will be used in Xquery) (also the container is 
indexed  as "" "id" "node-attribute-equality-string" )  and the same is the
key of the document with which it is stored in the container.
