Offhand, I am not certain what that failure is.  Internally, we test  
with
Solaris and its native compilers, and have had some issues
with gcc on Solaris.

This specific error is ignorable, as it's in test code, but it may
be indicative of errors to come.

What versions of gcc and the native compiler are on your Solaris
machine?
