Fred, Full text is not part of BDB XML at this time. Like many features, it's on the long-term list. What is available is a substring index that can be used to optimize fn:contains() calls, and meets *some* full-text needs. Also, there have been user applications that integrate BDB XML storage with Lucene to provide full-text search. I'm not sure if any of them are listening. If so, feel free to respond.
