Best interface to access MAXDB

Hello, i am starting a project in c++ with qt4 in linux and i would like
to know what can be the recommended interface to this config, i know
from c++ i can use sqldbc but qt has no native widgets for it, it has
odbc support so what it is the recommended one? Thanks.
