Re: MaxDB/Linux still maintained?

Hi, I got curious about the Ubuntu-MaxDB problems you mentioned,
because I just installed MaxDB 7.6.0.34 on Ubuntu Server 6.10
(X86-64), and it worked just as expected, using almost the same recipe
we applied for OpenSUSE [1].

We just had to do apt-get libstdc++.so.5 (or something like that)
before installing MaxDB. After successful installation, we restored a
database instance and started using the database.

MaxDB start/stop service script must be simplified in order to make it
work with Ubuntu Server, because UbuntuServer configuration is very
simple in contrast with other distros.
