Hello Chris, As you seem to be a SAP customer, I have to advise you to open customer messages at SAP for problems related to SAP software. Within the integration data available via transactions LC10 and DB59 you should be able to configure the new DBM user. März 2007 20:13 To: [email protected] Subject: User help All, We had a DB crash on our 64bit 7.5 MAXdb. I ended up deleting the DB, then restoring it from a previous backup. I created a new DB based on the backup media, and then ran a db_activate recover... The issue seems to be that after the DB came back online the control user is no longer there? It seems that the user dbm has taken its place. It seems that LiveCache is not happy with dbm and wants control back in there. So my question is this, can I rename dbm to control? Can I copy dbm to control? Can I make LiveCache accept the new dbm user instead of control? LiveCache seems to be working now with a manual start of the DB and can read it, but I need to be able to Start/Stop the DB through SCM (LC10) which I currently cannot. I know this is a possible mixture of SAP and MAXdb issue, but I'd really prefer to reach out to the MAXdb community first, you guys respond faster and better than SAP. Thanks in advance, Chris
