Hm, although I have no W2K-machine at hand, I wonder, why the ODBC driver did not install on such a machine. Mainly, the installation consists of two steps: Copy the files, register the driver.

Can you please check, wether the files are copied to the chosen directory?
If yes, please try to call "odbcreg.exe" manually:

	odbcreg MaxDB -i -p <directory, where the dll is

You can check the options with "odbcreg -h". Of course, writing to the registry needs admin rights.
