	Martin,

This does not work for me because my whole point of database
restore is to create a standby instance, recover it once from data
backup and then incrementally restore log backups. I want to activate it
only in case of a hardware error on master instance. I understand that
once I activate it, I won't be able to restore any more log backups into
it.
	Any other suggestions?

Hello Eduard,

the command "db_activate RECOVER ..." does not bring the database
into online-mode. Thus it is no problem to restore logbackups
into such a database.

Maybe you also want to read this part of the documentation:

Kind regards, Martin
