Toby, is there any way to kill orphan connections? I have observed (using
mckoi 1.0.3) that when the client dies unexpectedly, McKoi retains the
client connections, even for days, which I suppose must consume resources.
I have detected these connections using "show connections". I think that
providing a "connection-idle-timeout" parameter in db.conf would solve
this problem.
In my case the client is a servlet engine using a connection pool (resin
2.1.14).
Best regards,
Martin
