I've had found that message, and apparently the McKoi dialect for hibernate has some minor issues. I've used the hibernate unit tests against MySql, HSQLDB, and Oracle without any problems. I will see if I can figure out the problem with the hibernate dialect. I would feel more confortable choosing McKoi if I know that the hibernate unit testing is clean. -----Original Message----- From: James [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, March 11, 2005 12:25 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: Hibernate junit Tests running against Mckoidb I am using Hibernate against Mckoi database with no problems. However, I haven't tried running Hibernate's unit tests yet. When just starting out I had trouble running the Hibernate example. I figured out how to make example work by getting rid of back ticks on column names. See following message: http://mckoi.com/database/mail/subject.jsp?id=6879&highlight=hibernate+#MSG_ 6879 A few changes like removal of back ticks in hbm files might be enough to fix any trouble you are having. Let me know if you are successful or not successful in running unit tests.
