textfile-DB

I am using av DB without SQL support and with its own internal structure but it is possible to make the DB-tables look like simple text files and read them sequential. I don't think mckoidb can handle those files as a mckoidb but perhaps a hack somewhere in the code is all needed. Anyone having an idea?
