Service for Mckoi with network path

I'm using javaservice to install the McKoi as a service. 
Everything works fine until the database - subdirectory data - is stored on the local server. 
If this subdirectory is stored somewhere on my network and I set the path to this directory in db.conf, 
javaservice seems to install this service properly, but it can't be started: 
>Mckoi konnte nicht gestartet werden. 
>Der Dienst hat keinen Fehler gemeldet. 
>Sie erhalten weitere Hilfe, wenn Sie NET HELPMSG 3534 eingeben. 
The error-log says:
java.lang.Error: IO Error: Conglomerate doesn't exist: ...\data\DefaultDatabase.sf
If I start McKoi manually with this network-path, everythink works fine. 

Any Ideas?
