Magic value error

It gives the error: java.io.IOException: Format invalid: Magic value is not as expected. reported by com.mckoi.debug.Debug, followed by several lines of = additional error=20 messages. Those are then followed by: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.Runtime Exception: IO Error: Format invalid: Magic value is = not as expected. As far as I can tell, the data base shut down without incident but just = will not restart.=20 I ran the DBConglomerateRepairTool but it still reports the same = problem. Anyone=20 have any ideas of what might cause this or how to recover from it or = prevent it in the=20 future.
