My Dr. Dobb's article should be hitting the stands now. They never sent me a pre-print so hopefully they didn't butcher the text too much. It uses python as a teaching vehicle for explaining metakit's role with hierarchical datastructures and relational algebra. It also compares SQL, relational algebra and metakit.
