'datetime' problem moving from 3.x to 4.x under OS X

Hi, When Apple's OS X Server updated mysql from 3.x to 4.x datetime columns no longer appear correctly. Reverting to the previous version of mysqld shows the datetime columns correctly. New entries added under 4.x are not shown correctly under 3.x and vice versa. Is there an easy way to update the records with datetime entries made under 3.x so that I can apply the OS X server updates?
