I could not reproduce this. When I switch to the Service Control
panel nothing happens and all controls are disabled. (which is the
expected behavior.)

You are right. We won't add new features to the beta-version. Instead we
will create a new Administrator version 1.1 (which will start out as
alpha again) when we add new functionality like the service control etc
for a remote host.
I don't know when this will happen. I hope soon but there are several
people and departments involved in this so I really can't say.
