hi,

it's not possible to compile MySQL on kernel 2.6.10 (and maybe also
other versoins). i'm trying it _all the day_ but without success..! i
pass through bugs #7970 (http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=7970) and
#7851 (http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=7851) but then i got this
error:

replace.c:379: conflicting types for `set_bit'
/usr/include/asm/bitops.h:43: previous declaration of `set_bit'
replace.c:380: conflicting types for `clear_bit'
/usr/include/asm/bitops.h:78: previous declaration of `clear_bit'
replace.c:755: redefinition of `set_bit'
replace.c:379: `set_bit' previously defined here
replace.c:761: redefinition of `clear_bit'
replace.c:380: `clear_bit' previously defined here
make[2]: *** [replace.o] Error 1
make[2]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

i'm useing MySQL 4.0.23a, kernel 2.6.10, gcc 3.2.3 on Slackware linux
9.1 . if you need any other info just ask for it. any fixes on this ?
thnx

azurIt
