possible bug in MySQL 5.6.7-rc slave replication crash safety?

Hello all,

We downloaded MySQL 5.6.7-rc to see slave replication crash safety in
action. A simple test did not seem to work, as described in
http://bugs.mysql.com/bug.php?id=67246.

Does anyone have insight into the problem? Perhaps we screwed something up?
