Hi all, as some of you might have noticed from the news page, I've started to use the diary & notes feature of sourceforge to keep people updated on the project without populating the mailing list. You can get to the entries through http://sourceforge.net/users/fipar If you do an cvs update on the mysql-ha package, you'll find a new file called setup_replication.sh, which as the name suggests, attempts to automatically setup replication for the master and slave nodes. This script still needs some testing, but it's working now, at least under some circumstances, and if some of you have the time and will to check it out, it'd be great. My current work is focused on improving the setup process, to make it as automatic as possible first, and as user-friendly as possible later. The new release should be ready in two weeks at most, depending on how many problems i have with the new features. regards, Fernando. ------------------------------------------------------- SF.Net is sponsored by: Speed Start Your Linux Apps Now.
