For what are the jars "data_dir", "share_dir", "win_share_dir" and mysqld-nt.exe?

According to web page

http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/connector-mxj-install-base.html

a couple of *.jars must be added to the CLASSPATH.

I found in the mysql-connector-mxj....zip package a lot of *.jar
files not mentionen on the web page e.g.

- "data_dir",
- "share_dir",
- "win_share_dir"

For what are these files? When do I have to add them in the CLASSPATH as well?

Moreover I wonder for what

mysql-connector-mxj-gpl-5-0-9\resources\5-0-51a\Win-x86\mysqld-nt.exe
and
mysql-connector-mxj-gpl-5-0-9\resources\kill.exe

are. Is these programs used for accessing/managing DBs through the connector?

Or are they additional, independent programs?
In the official MySQL distribution there is already an mysqld-nt.exe.
Do I have to replace this existing version with the new binary included in
the mysql-connector archive?

What is the difference to

winmysqladmin.exe
