Hello I was asking to myself if mysql5 provide a numerical type which is automatically managed as an ID (primary key) by the database: when a record is created the value corresponding to this index is automatically set: first record has his corresponding element set to 1, second is set to 2 and so on; I know that last versions of Sybase provide this type, Oracle probably does it too but I didn't find such type in the mysql5 documentation; or am I wrong??Thank you in advance for any information Regards M. -- MySQL Java Mailing List For list archives: http://lists.mysql.com/java To unsubscribe: http://lists.mysql.com/[email protected]
