long queries

Hi list, 

does anybody know the following phenomenon. If I enter a query with e.g. six 
lines, the querytext is not viewed, I see the frame of the program insteed 
with the buttons, also the appear correct further down, like they should. 
After minimizing the window several times, the query is shown. 

I am using qb 1.1.4 

I can send a screenshot, if wished!
