The user_info table was set to Latin1_swedish_ci setting via an option that said Collation, I changed it to utf8_bin, reloaded mysql and still the same error occurs. I see this info via phpMyadmin. Several of the tables have this same setting including user. Any ideas? Thanks! -----Original Message----- From: Michael G. It should be UTF8. If it is latin1se this might cause troubles.
