Nikos - I like to use Cocoa MySQL (http://cocoamysql.sourceforge.net/). It works pretty good for queries, but is not for creating users. However, on large queries, say over 20,000 records or so, it tends to hose up. You can find lots of Mac GUI MySQL apps at http://ww.VersionTracker.com. Try this: http://www.versiontracker.com/php/search.php?mode=basic&action=search&str=mysql&plt%5B%5D=macosx&x=0&y=0 There's good results here too: http://www.google.com/mac?hl=en&lr=&q=mysql+gui&btnG=Google+Search Another good website for MAc & MySQL (and PostgreSQL) is this one: http://www.entropy.ch/software/macosx/mysql/ For some weird reason this webpage only shows up on my Mac. It comes up with just the background in Windows (FireFox & IE). Hmmmmm. If you can cobble together a Linux x86 box, you can use the MySQL Linux Admin apps. I do this by logging in across the network from my Mac to my Llinux box via XDMCP, which creates an X-windows session. My x86 Fedora Core 3 Linux desktop shows up right on my Mac! So I have MacOSX AND Linux available at my fingertips on my PowerBook. Sweeeet. It seems that the MySQL Query Browser is not available for Macintosh users. Does anyone know if there are any alternative solutions. I have already installed MySQL and the MySQL administrator packages but I am still looking for a GUI.
