Building Administrator & Query Browser packages for "modern" Linux releases

Just wondering why RHL9 & SL9.1 are the most recent RPMs available for 
download?

I have searched the list archives and did not find anything relevent.

Since the binaries being provided by MySQL AB are "out of date" and do not 
work on newer releases, I am working on building (RPM) packages for Fedora & 
SUSE distributions.  In the meantime, I continue to "maintain" packages for 
mysqlcc, though I mostly use the mysql command line client.

Any idea when the guys who are busily working on releasing new versions of 
Administrator & Query Browser are going to get around to updating their code 
to work on modern Linux distributions?  Are they all still running those old 
versions themselves (not that I really think this)?
