MySQL Administrator crashes upon launch...

Got MySQL installed just fine on the server, but when I launch the  
MySQL Administrator, put in the IP address of the server, with no  
user ID or password, MySQL Administrator quits.

Thoughts anyone?

OSX 10.4.2, lots of HD, 1-Gig RAM.
