As it turned out the problem comes from a backup that was not saved in utf8 encoding but is loaded with that option.
Unfortunately, there was no error message given and the analyzation thread simply finished without any sign. However
backups generated by MA should always be utf8 encoded, so there might be another problem lurking around. See if you can
switch to latin1 as the charset option (tab "General") and then the analyzation completes.
