Can't create users via MySQL Administrator GUI

Hi, When I try to create a new user, by selecting "New User" in the "User Administration" option, the tool throws up an error "MySQL Administrator Exception: Error while storing the error information. The user might have been deleted. Please refresh the user list." When I press "Discard Changes" button on the User Administration pane, the tool again throws up an error "Error while fetching user information. The user might have been deleted."
