Navicat MySQL GUI Tools backup enquiry

HI,

I use the scheduled data transfer feature of  http://www.navicat.com Navicat 
a lot - this runs on a couple of servers every week. The downloads are
getting rather big now, and I know that PHYMyAdmin lets me zip the data on
the server before I download.

Is there a way to get Navicat to do the same thing? This would be a real
time and bandwidth saver if it can.
