Problem starting MySQL Gui Tools

Hello

I just downloaded the 
mysql-gui-tools-5.0r2-linux-i386.tar.gz
package on my Suse Linux 9.2 (there are no rpms)

when I try to run the mysql-administrator I get this
error:

./mysql-administrator-bin: error while loading shared
libraries:
libgtkmm-2.4.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No
such file or
directory

I thought the binaries were all statically linked.
maybe I am wrong on this.

are there any statically linkes binaries or is there
another way to get the gui tools running ?
