Otherwise I will use DBD4. Currently the situation is that WB will stay in alpha state for quite some time because we are working on MA, QB and MT. We hope to get MA into GA (general availability) yet this month. QB should follow as soon as possible (same with MT). The Workbench however is a different beast because it is relatively new and needs a lot of additional work to be really useful. What you get now is kind of a technology preview, something to get an idea and to give feedback about how this application could be improved. WB is not yet ready for everyday work and should really not be used for that. Since WB is able to import DBD4 models it is a safe bed to stay with DBD4 for the time being and upgrade later to WB once it is in a better shape. But please don't stop giving feedback about WB (or DBD4 for that matter) related to things like user interface, data handling and so on.
