I must be missing something, because I can't figure out how to run the mysql-migration-tool on Ubuntu Linux. starting here: http://www.mysql.com/products/tools/migration-toolkit/ "Download the Migration Toolkit" takes me to http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/gui-tools/5.0.html which says it includes it, but it isn't in mysql-gui-tools-5.0r5.tar.gz That seems bad. I did find the svn repo: svn co http://svn.mysql.com/svnpublic/mysql-migration-tool/trunk/ mysql-migration-tool cd mysql-migration-tool But can't figure out what to do next. http://svn.mysql.com/svnpublic/mysql-migration-tool/trunk/README.script says "To start the text UI version, run ./run_migration" but juser@e18:~/src/svn/mysql-migration-tool$ find ./ -iname run_migration (nothing) I'll keep poking, but a tip from someone who has figured this out would be handy.
