Query browser locks up when connection is lost.

The query browser window locks up and stops responding when the 
connection to the server is lost temporarily. It all goes normal again 
when the connection comes back, but could it be a bit more graceful? 
Even if I am just looking at a resultset or writing a script (i.e. not 
interacting with the server) it will lock up totally.
