gui-tool?

Hello:

I am not trying to offend anybody. Please read and help me.

I have a new CentOS 5.2 installation with MySQL 5.1 and Gui-Tools5.1. I 
have tried to setup a test table using Gui-Tools. It seems that the 
Gui-Tools documentation is too little and the screen shots do not match 
with the written documentation. This leaves me with the following choices:

1. Consult MySQL 5.1 documentation and setup table manually (it is 
difficult because this is my first encounter with MySQL;
2. Look for other documentation/samples/tutorials for Gui-Tools! For 
this recommendation I need some direction pointing me towards these 
documents/samples/tutorials;
3. Try Navicat (except I have no money to spend).
4. Try PostgreSQL & hope that they have better GUI tools.

Please help. Send me a direct email if you want to reply to me directly. 
I have already spent 2-3 weeks on this problem.
