This isn't normal, I use the Query browser in version 1.2.12 and it =
works
fine. I never have seen the item's grayed out.
Check the version of your Query browser!

Ulrich Schmid

Oggetto: MySQL Query Browser & UNIQUE indices

Hi, list!

On indices tab of QB Table Editor there are 5 kinds of index: index,
primary, unique, full text and spatial. However, first 2 are enabled
and other 3 is grayed out. I opened existing table with unique column
pair, but even though "unique" kind of index is selected by default,
it still can not be selected manually.

Is it normal? Workbench seem to allow to create unique indices, but it
dies to much yet to use it in production.
