I use the Query browser in version 1.2.12 on WindowsXp and Windows7 Professional. For the server i use version 5.0 and 5.1 on linux and WindowsXp, exclusively with the MyISAM engine, since many years without having any problems. If you insert a new table the query browser per default takes the first column as the primary key and disables the combo "Index Kind". To enable the combo you must add an index and select it. Then you should have the combo "Index Kind" enabled and in the combo list you should = have al available index kind's active.=20 Once you have confirmed a primary key and saved the table you cannot = change the Index Kind. To change the Index Kind you have to cancel the key and = set it up new. I never have seen single items in the list grayed out! I also noticed that UNIQUE item is grayed out only when MyISAM or InnoDB engine is selected. Which is strange because I can create UNIQUE index by entering and executing query on table with such engine. 2010/5/4 uschmid <[email protected]>: > This isn't normal, I use the Query browser in version 1.2.12 and it = works > fine.
