Re: WorkBench 5.2 RC

Mike and the rest of the team,

I would like to mirror Charlie's sentiments almost exactly.  I even went =
as far as using WB 5.1 as one of the classroom tool for the recent =
database class I taught at UW (the next alternative for the $$ is Visio, =
gak!). Despite a few bugs and quirks (which seem to be mostly gone in =
5.2), most of the students, who were completely new to databases, were =
impressed with the general usability and learning curve of the =
application, which I feel speaks measures to the quality of the product.

I've been using the GUI tools for years (despite frequent crashing on =
Macs) and I'm very happy that WB is finally to the point that I can =
leave the old tools behind (now that I've finally figured out how to =
make quick schema changes).

Thanks for the great work!  This product has a great opportunity to be a =
game changer, especially for those who are new to SQL and don't write it =
with a text editor, those who want modeling tools, and those who are =
trying to push MySQL (and OSS) in the enterprise.=20
