Subject: DBD::mysql problem when I try to compile under HP-UX 11.00

Hi all,

I'm new here (and also with Linux, Perl, Mysql).
I'm working with a HP Server 9000 (L1000/L2000) with HP-UX 11.00 OS.
I'm trying to install MySql, Perl, DBI and DBD.
After Install:
- MySql 4.1.7 (HP version from MySql site)
(Mysql-standard-4.1.7-hp-hpux11.00-1.7.tar)
- Perl 5.8.2 (depot file from HP site)
(perl_D.5.8.2.B_hp-ux_B.11.00_32+64.depot)
- DBI 1.46 (from CPAN.ORG site) (DBI-1.4.tar) (Using the 'CC' from HP-UX
11.00)
with success,

I started to install the "DBD::MySql" (DBD-mysql-2.9004.tar).
- "perl Makefile.PL" runs OK!
- "Make" showing and error code 1

In attach you can find 2 files:

- the error message
- some suggestion from the HP help desk

I hope this can help you to understand my problems.

Thanks in advance to every one that could help me !!

Andrea.
