This is probably the most popular question on this mailing list and has several answers. I would suggest you check the MySQL manual, particularly the sections from about 2.3.9 on installing on Windows. If that does not give you the answer, search the mailing list archives at http://lists.mysql.com/win32 I would check that the mysql command line client works OK before trying SAP.
