Morning, This is the wrong group for this problem. You need Toad@yahoogroups - this group is for Toad SQL questions. However .... >> Hi, this data type (Oracle Spatial data type) in any >> query causes a TOAD crash ! Does anyone have a workaround >> for this problem or is a BUG ? Please help me Thanks SP You need to supply a lot more information I'm afraid: * Version of Oracle database * Version of Oracle client in use by Toad * Version of Toad Some versions of Toad are older, ditto clients etc and may not "know" about this data type. I know I have problems with Oracle 9i client on 10g databases when selecting from TIMESTAMP WITH TIMEZONE data types. Cheers, Norm.
