RE: Garbage in "Descibe Objects"

Oh, I went to the yahoo group and now I see your screen shots.

It looks like you are using an old Oracle client.   Use a newer one and the problem will be fixed.

Garbage is ending up in the column and therefore is making it into the sql executed in the db.

This is what I see when I switch to the data tab.

I use this kind of functionality a lot so this make Toad 11 unusable for me especially in a firefighting mode.

Any switch I can turn off that would fix this?
