crash problems

Using Toad 11.0.0.116 occasionally when I come in in the morning having 
left Toad running overnight, I have an Invalid Window Handle error 1400 
and Toad is frozen--presumably because it was disconnected from one of 
the databases I was working in overnight....(?)  This has happened since 
version 10.  It used to be I could kill Toad and restart it and it was 
nice enough to save all my open windows.  I'm running into some issues 
with version 11 though...
It only saves the editor windows that were unsaved at the time--which I 
can live with.  However, I can't successfully restore the ones it has 
saved.  I select the documents I want to restore and click ok.  There is 
about a 25 second pause for each document and then I get this error:

After I've done this for each window the database connection window 
comes up and I select a database to connect to.  And then I get this error.

The only way i've been able to figure out how to recover is open another 
instance of Toad and manually cut and paste all the recovered documents 
from the first instance to the second.  Is there something messed up in 
my settings?
