That version of Toad does not exist until we can compile Toad as a 64-bit application.  For now, you will need to install the 32-bit oracle clients for Toad to be able to make a connection.

I have seen this before... Some times it is a memory issue. Hi All,

I hope you can help us with our issue with Toad for Oracle 9_7_2. Every time they access multiple databases at the same time they got the error "Access violation at address 0052476F in module 'toad.exe'. Read of address 00000211."

We tested Toad with different Oracle clients (10.2.020 and 11.2.010), but same result.
