You are active on it, so I wondered if you would pass along this info... We had several web developers that got switched to SQL Developer from TOAD and they encountered several issues. Here were their problems and they convinced the manager it was worth buying them the licenses for TOAD: 1. All of the developers must be able to access an 8i database. SQL Developer does not support older databases while Toad does. 2. Developers are unable to access and execute stored procedures on any version. This is important since there are large numbers of these. 3. Developers are unable to execute large queries. 4. SQL Developer times out consistently which result in developers wasting time reestablishing connections. 5. Execution of queries against large data sets seems to fail.
