Mark Good stuff! I hope we get enough momentum to get approved. I'll do my part. For those who have never used one of the Stack Exchange sites out, have a look at all the sites they host:- http://stackexchange.com/sites The basic method is that someone asks a question, and then other uses answer questions. Anyone can vote on the answers provided. That means that the answer that the community thinks best answers the question is, after some time, up the top of the page. People can have discussions on both the questions and answers as well. Coming to the site you can search the questions to see if what you're about to ask has already been answered. Further details on usage is described here:- http://stackexchange.com/about Regards Mike From: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Mark Lerch Sent: Tuesday, February 07, 2012 12:07 PM To: [email protected]; [email protected] Subject: [toad] Toad on StackExchange Mike McAllister had the idea of giving Toad a presence on StackExchange. So I investigated it, and created a proposal for a new site there for us. It is an involved process, and not easily achieved. It's designed that way for obvious reasons. Here is the link for the proposal I created: http://area51.stackexchange.com/proposals/38255/toad-for-oracle?referrer=lFN 8JdBWpjl-6tc1Qmy_ZQ2 If you wish to help advertise for this proposal on a website, here is the text to use: Now it is up to you guys.
