Everything worked like a charm ( after a few attempts).

Thanks for the excellent instructions.

Hey Leo,

Follow these steps to pull in your Toad 10.6 files:

- Go into your user files folder on your new machine.

For Windows XP and earlier, this should be: c:\Documents and
Settings\<user>\Application Data\Quest Software\Toad for
Oracle\<version>\User Files

For Windows Vista and later, this should be:
c:\users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Quest Software\Toad for
Oracle\<version>\User Files

You can also find this folder by going to the "General" page of your
Toad Options window and click the "Open Folder" button under the
"Application data directory".

- Make sure Toad is closed down and rename your Toad.ini to
Toad.bak

Separately:

- Copy your "10.6" folder from your old machine to your new
machine, or share that folder with the new machine. It should be
located in the same location as the ones listed above.

Finally:

- Start Toad 11.0. It will prompt you to migrate your user
settings with the following window:

-

Note: (your user name will be different than the above)

Click on the ellipses button to select the "10.6" folder either from the
copy you just made or from your old machine. Toad will prompt you to
restart and it should import your old settings.

Let me know if you run into any problems.

I need to migrate the settings of TOAD 10.6 to 11.0

They are running on separate PCs.

I did share the program files from the old PC to the new one, and
pointed there when I was prom[ted, but it did not seem to do it, neither
did it take the connections.

Any suggestions?
